In the Earth-6311 reality, in which humanity never experienced the Dark Ages, Nathaniel Richards was born in the 30th century. Nathaniel Richards, a time traveler from Earth-616, brought peace to the region after decades of development and conflict. Richards became a renowned philanthropist because he provided peace to this post-war world. Although some documents suggest he may also be a descendant of the Latverian emperor known as Dr. Doom, Nathaniel Richards born into this reality is considered to be a descendant of the Benefactor. When he was 16 years old, Kang the Conqueror intervened on his behalf, causing young Nathaniel to temporarily assume the identity of the youthful hero known as Iron Lad in an effort to stop his inevitable metamorphosis into Kang. The young person also spent a brief period of time as Child Immortus, a supervillain. Even though his memories of becoming Iron Lad may have been wiped, Nathaniel Richards eventually went back to his home time to fulfill his true destiny. At this point, there is no clear reason for this, and the events that led up to it have not yet been documented.
As an adult, Nathaniel became tired of his idyllic surroundings and eventually developed a love for Earth-616’s heroic era, with the Fantastic Four being his special focus. Richards started looking into his past to find out if he shared any biological traits with Dr. Doom and his namesake. He discovered the abandoned fortress of the Benefactor through his investigation, along with its numerous weapons, machinery, and fully operational Time-Platform. But before Richards could make use of any of his discoveries, the Fantastic Four of Earth-7712 ambushed him. The group was dispatched by the Time Variance Authority to implant a Saturnine Symbiont, a contraption that would stop Nathaniel’s future self Immortus from absorbing temporal energies and turning into a temporal quantum wave, a feat that Nathaniel’s future self was attempting many years from his own personal history. But Nathaniel appeared to be able to defeat these Fantastic Four from another universe. The Reed Richards’ Rocket Group of Earth-8212 was then sent by the TVA in its place. The Reed Richards from that universe persuaded Nathaniel of their shared ancestry and persuaded him to voluntarily implant himself with the Saturnyne Symbiont in order to stop the harm posed by his future self. After completing their task, the Rocket Gang went back to their own reality.
When left to his own devices, Nathaniel created his own time machine, building it to resemble a sphinx after deciding to visit ancient Egypt.
Nathaniel was sent back in time to Egypt on Earth-616 in the year 2960 BC via the time machine. Baal and his group of Sandstormers, who lived in the desert, discovered a blinded and hurt Nathaniel when his ship landed there. He was brought back from the ship and treated for his injuries. Nathaniel finally retreated into the desert despite being blinded in the collision, leaving behind gadgets that contained data on the impending birth of the world’s first mutant known as En Sabah Nur. Nathaniel Richards, who later changed his name to Rama-Tut, swiftly seized control of the Egyptian monarchy using an army of robots and weapons from his time ship. Soon after discovering a radioactive herb, Rama utilized it to regain his vision. Rama ordered the Egyptian populace to come to worship him, erect enormous sculptures in his honor, and abandon the ancient deities. At the time, Rama-Tut was unaware that this infuriated the Egyptian deity of revenge Khonshu. Rama marched an army to the Sandstormers’ camp a few weeks after conquering Egypt to retrieve his archive so that he might name En Sabah Nur — who would later grow up to become the formidable mutant known as Apocalypse — as his successor. When he got there, he discovered that the Sandstormers had hidden it and would not hand it over. Several of the Sandstormers were killed by Rama and his troops, while the remainder were made into slaves.
Ozymandias thought that the union of Nephri and Rama-Tut would eventually enable him to rule the kingdom on his own someday. Rama-Tut most likely imprisoned the legendary vampire Amenhotep during this time and buried him inside a pyramid named for him. Rama-Tut once impregnated a slave woman, who gave birth to a son named Ramades, whom Rama-Tut afterward abandoned.
