Kang made his initial appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as He Who Remains, a variant of himself, in Loki (2021), the first season of the well-liked series. Kang will take on a variety of personas, and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (2025) is expected to show the time-traveler in all his glory.
In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023), the Conqueror appears in at least four different guises: Robot Kang, Rama Tut, Immortus, and Victor Timely. Jonathan Majors, who played He Who Remains in the movie, almost declined the offer to play the supervillain but eventually accepted and has been playing Kang as the Conqueror to near-perfection.
1. Scarlet Centurion:
Marcus Kang, the 23rd child of Nathaniel Richards, alias Kang the Conqueror, is given the privilege of using his father’s old armor and name. He is the Scarlet Centurion, a devoted agent, and a seasoned combatant.
2. Immortus:
Nathaniel Richards, a time traveler from Earth-616, ensured that Earth-6311 never had to suffer the Dark Ages by ending violence and bloodshed there. A reputed descendent of this Nathaniel, Nathaniel Richard of Earth-6311, traversed time and space to assume the persona of Kang the Conqueror after assuming various forms, including that of the Scarlet Centurion.
Immortus, a Kang variant, has been given the responsibility of trimming the Holy Timeline by the Time Keepers. The Time Keepers prefer to act immediately to save the Timeline, whereas Immortus uses diplomacy and negotiation to avert recurrent disaster. After the Time Keepers established that Scarlet Witch was a nexus event, he was given the assignment to murder her, but he handled the issue with his normal cunning and temporal manipulation.
3. Rama Tut:
Rama-Tut, a distant ancestor of none other than Reed Richards, best known on stage as Mr. Fantastic, was born in the 30th century as Nathaniel Richards. At first, this person was a hero. After being visited by his other self, Kang the Conqueror, he decided to change the course of his destiny and refuse to turn into the villain he was destined to be. He then adopted the alias Iron Lad at this moment. But for obvious reasons, he finally returned to his original path and began leading a supervillain’s life. He decided to turn against the Fantastic Four at that time after becoming attracted to them. He finally constructed a time machine, traveled to ancient Egypt, and took on the persona of Emperor Rama-Tut. He took over the leadership of the whole Kingdom. He even made the time machine like a Sphinx to blend in.
He developed into a sort of deity among the Egyptian populace. The people created statues of him and honored Rama-Tut. They rejected him, even the ancient gods he served. The Egyptian moon deity Khonshu and Rama-Tut engaged in this kind of combat. Moon Knight is under the influence of the same Khonshu, who gives orders to him. Even the Avengers, who were supporting Khonshu in expelling Rama-Tut from Egypt, were engaged in a fight with Rama-Tut. He eventually encountered the F4, who had gone back in time to find a special radioactive herb. He eventually lost control of the F4 and they became his slaves. With Khonshu’s assistance, the F4 and Doctor Strange in his astral form were able to defeat Rama-Tut.
4. Victor Timely:
As he comes to contemporary Washington, D.C., the time-traveling supervillain Kang the Conqueror engages in combat with the Avengers in the original comics. After a protracted battle, he succumbs, but he devises a new plan to conquer the world.
In 1901, Kang returns to Wisconsin under the guise of Victor Timely. Kang establishes Timely and names himself, mayor. Also, he establishes Timely Industries, a company with a focus on robotics and other cutting-edge technology. Kang prepares to fight the Avengers in the present by covertly bolstering his might from his stronghold in Wisconsin.
